Hulse Reinforcing launches website On 26th November 2009 Hulse Reinforcing launches its website in partnership with Steelforce Systems and Overberg Reinforcing of Hermanus. This is to make information more readily available to customers on our capability, partnerships and also to make contacting Hulse Reinforcing easier.
Closing date for end of year We will be closing for the Christmas holidays from the 11th December 2009 till the 12th of January 2010. All orders will need to be submitted a week prior to the closing date for them to be met.

Hulse Reinforcing was started 19 years ago on the eve of South Africa’s democracy. The timing was good with a new country on the horizon and new opportunities to be had. Currently Hulse Reinforcing is one of the largest suppliers of steel reinforcing, otherwise known as re-bar in the Western Cape. We have been involved in such major projects as 2010 World Cup stadium in Green Point, Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) and the One and Only Hotel in the V&A Waterfront.
Hulse Reinforcing is primarily engaged in the supply of cut and bend reinforcing steel to the building and civil engineering industries, as well as the on-site management and fixing of the reinforcing steel subcontract through fixing contractors. We are a family/owner managed business, started in 1990 with handful of staff, and operating out of a small yard in Blackheath Cape Town. We have grown consistently year in and year out culminating in the construction of a new state of the art factory in 2008. Many of the staff that are currently employed at Hulse have been with us since day one creating a close knit team that work well together and know what to expect from each other.
